Leighton Meester is an American singer, model, actor and songwriter. Leighton Meester is best known as Blair Waldorf in the TV drama "Gossip Girl." Her acting career as a kid. She took part in the local stage production in the play "Wizard of Oz" during her childhood. The show sparked her curiosity for performing. Her first job was as a model and in commercials. Through her modeling projects, she has worked for major brands such as 'Herbal Essences, 'Vera Wang,' 'Jimmy Choo and Ralph Lauren.' Though she began modeling as an actress, she then decided to pursue acting. She made her acting debut through the TV show 'Law and Order'. Later, she took part in cameos on television features and shows like 'Country Strong,' 'Monte Carlo,' and "Killer Movie.' Apart from performing, she's made music recordings and composed songs as a collaboration with many renowned singers, such as the 'Cobra Ship' and musician Robin Thicke.
